Lake Teleccio

Orco Valley

The entirely paved route from Rosone to the top of the artificial Teleccio lake has an altitude difference of 1.200 m and is suitable for cyclists in a good state of training. The second half of the route, after San Giacomo, is on the private road of IREN S.p.A. The route is very demanding but in the climb up the large wild valley you will find silence and a rugged landscape overlooked by sheer cliffs.

Nivolet Hill

Orco Valley

The route is entirely paved and suitable for cyclists in a good state of training. It is the most popular hill in the Gran Paradiso with views along the route that make the effort spent in the climb worthwhile all the way up to the glacial basin of Lake Serrù and Piano del Nivolet, where the meandering bends of the Dora form the highest peat bog in Europe with aquatic habitats ideal for the European common frog and many plant species.
